Earth Fun Facts in Miles:

Circumference at the equator: 24,901.46 miles
Circumference at the poles: 24,855.34 miles
Average diameter of the earth: 7917.52 miles
Average distance to the sun: 93,020,000 miles
Average distance to the moon: 238,857 miles

Forget your hats! Hold onto your brains, folks.

The day draws near for Dr. Kam Yuen’s full moon Mt Shasta Seminar June 6th and 7th (9AM-5PM) at the Mount Shasta Resort. There’s a free lecture demonstration June 4th at 6:30 PM, also at the resort.

How fast does the earth spin?

The speed at which the earth spins varies upon your latitudinal location on the planet. If you’re standing at the north pole, the speed is almost zero but at the equator, where the circumference of the earth is greatest, the speed is about 1,038 miles per hour (1,670 kph). The mid-latitudes of the U.S. and Europe speed along at 700 to 900 mph (1125 to 1450 kph).

Spiritual Teachers Are Obsolete!

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

“People use their intuition with things they care
about. Many women are most intuitive with their
relationships and children, whereas men often show
a great degree of ‘gut instinct’ in work and business.”

— Sonia Choquette: Spiritual teacher and author

(’Spiritual teacher‘. Hmmm, are we impressed yet?)

The truth is, folks, I’m not sure spirits can be taught much of anything—they are a fairly unruly bunch, flitting through the ethers with unfettered access to all past present and future experiences.  The way I see it,  spirits could use an equally strong mind and body to balance them out a bit.  What do you think?

If it’s so great being a spirit, why do so many of them hang around and try to tell us what to do? They had their chance/chances.

OK, OK, I’ll give the spirits a break.  After all, they do mean well, I’ve been told.  I’ll even resolve some of their spiritual experiences that are still bogging them down.

Spirits bogged down with their own spiritual experiences!  Oh my!

With all the negative stuff you hear from spiritual teachers about the body and mind, those unsung components of the body mind spirit triad still got a lot going for them.   It’s OK not to believe me, though.  I don’t put spiritual teacher after my name and wouldn’t want that position for all the tea in China.

I don’t even cotton to those who do.  I prefer my life coach—Dr. Kam Yuen.

Just ask Dr. Yuen. He’ll tell you flat out about the spirit, plus he speaks from a place of amazing results.   The spirit, says Dr. Yuen, should not be allowed to beat up on its fellow components—the body or the mind.  In the  body mind spirit triad, each component should be equally strong with strong internal and external boundaries, and each component should be separate from the other—like good roommates.

Thank you, very much.  I do have a body and a mind for awhile longer, and there must be a reason to let everything function at its optimum, instead of making any part suffer—-as some spiritual teachers would have me do.

Dr. Yuen doesn’t put spiritual teacher after his name, either.  What he says, though, makes more sense and gets exponentially better results than anything I’ve ever heard or tried.  But then again, I’ve never been drawn to spiritual teachers as a species.  I figure if a person has something to teach, it will spring out quite naturally at me like something worth learning.

Furthermore, if that’s the best quote Ms. Choquette has to offer, everyone reading this post should put spiritual teacher and author after her or his name.

Her ‘quote of the day’ came to me in an email from Nightingale Conant—self proclaimed world leader in personal development.

I’ll tell you what….why not send me your quotes of the day…. original or otherwise.

INVITATION TO THE MOUNT SHASTA VORTEX

Wednesday, May 13th, 2009

HurricaneEveryone is invited to the Mt Shasta Vortex for the Dr. Yuen Full Moon in June Seminar:  June 6th and 7th at the Mt Shasta Resort, to be exact.   Guaranteed to spin your mind!

What in the world is the Mt Shasta Vortex, you’re probably asking, and that’s a tough question.  So let’s  leave the mountain out of it and start with something simple.  A vortex is an energy phenomenon mostly identifiable by what it sets in motion.

We see the effect of this energy phenomenon all the time in nature—hurricanes, tornadoes, dust devils, water spouts, maelstroms etc.  Nothing like a good maelstrom to set you on your way.

The actual whys behind each vortex, however, get gnarly, especially when scientists get a hold of them.  And the poor buggers still can’t tell you the real why for anything, so let’s just plop some of their scientific thoughts out in the open: A vortex, by nature, contains a lot of energy in its circular motion alone. Furthermore,  in an ideal medium, energy can never be dissipated, so a vortex persists forever!

I love that!  Scientists, for all their claim to logic, are the first to go running through eternity spouting their  absolute attitudes.  I read that fun ‘forever’ fact in Wikipedia, and here’s a neat equation I got to go with it.

 \vec \omega = \nabla \times \vec \mathit{u}.

Never mind that the equation refers to a vortex formed in visible components, such as a liquid.   There are no visible components for the Mt Shasta vortex, but we can bare witness to the people’s antics that are spinning around inside it.

Speaking from experience, I find those antics wild and humorous enough to prove that there is a unique energy field around the mounttain, and once again I invite you to participate in the Dr. Yuen full moon in June seminar.  Come enjoy the vortex and decide for yourself.

Be warned, though. When the Mt Shasta vortex gets a hold of you, it is pretty dang insistent, persistent and consistent. Humans of all nationalities and all walks of life succumb to the pull, not to mention that there’s a constant flow out the other end to make room for the new.  I like to call it the Tao of Change.

Shoo Flu, Don’t Bother Me

The sneeze that kills!

The sneeze that kills!

Swine flu hysteria threatens to cause more disease than the so-called disease itself.  At least that’s my opinion and my opinion is not alone.   “Swine flu hysteria” may spread faster than the virus, critics say.”

I don’t know about you folks,  but I like the idea of being critical when it comes to disease.  First of all, I don’t even like the word ‘disease’.   Second of all, less than 160 confirmed cases of this particular ‘disease’ have been reported in 24 states.

“How bad can it get?”  reporters keep asking, their eyes staring straight into the camera lens.

It always comes down to  that nagging question, doesn’t it, folks?  How bad can it get.  I’ll tell you what, let’s all stop and think on just how bad it can get:        …… thinking… thinking… thinking…….The world ends in a pandemic! OK, I’ve said it.  Now we move on.

The sad reality is surgical masks are the hottest new item in Mexico City and emergency rooms all over the U.S. are packed with runny noses.   Our old buddies, Homeland Security have even gotten into the act, and everybody knows Homeland security is the least reliable source of reality on this planet.

You want to really know how bad it can get?   Any minute now, we’re going to get inundated with Hollywood remakes of those end of the world Germ Movies:  Tom Cruise will be adjusting his manly microscope while feverishly looking for the anti-venom before the heartless ‘Dick Cheney’ faction nukes his girlfriend.

Let’s get real, why don’t we?  The media needs to feed.  Pharmaceutical companies need to profit. The government needs to take your mind off the economy.  And  We need to arrive at the truth.

In a nutshell,  we tend to focus on something fearful outside of ourselves, when the true fear is resonating within.

Enter Dr. Yuen and his deletion technique!

Rid yourself of unwanted resonance! Kick that Piggy Flu fear in its little viral butt!

See what former presidential candidate Ron Paul has to say about the Swine flu from a physician’s standpoint but first………………..listen to this great tune on You Tube.

There’s still some 25 dollar slots in Dr. Yuen’s  Saturday and Sunday Teleseminars, folks.  Follow this link and sign up now.  If you hurry, you might even find a $59 dollar space for Sunday.
